In the surroundings of Margherita di Savoia it is possible to visit some of the most beautiful cathedrals and castles in Puglia such as the Cathedral of Trani and Castel del Monte, or places rich in history and culture such as Canne della Battaglia or the Cantina della Disfida di Barletta.
Famous are the religious shrines that surround the area such as those of San Giovanni Rotondo and Monte Sant’Angelo, a pilgrimage destination for millions of faithful. A few kilometres to the south are the Trulli of Alberobello and the Caves of Castellana, a world heritage site.
